Course Description

PEAK Overview

PEAK (Promoting the Emergence of Advanced Knowledge) is an assessment and curriculum system used in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to evaluate and teach language, cognitive, and learning skills. The system is grounded in behavioral principles and incorporates concepts from Relational Frame Theory. PEAK consists of four modules Direct Training (DT), Generalization (G), Equivalence (E), and Transformation (T) which assess and teach skills such as verbal behavior, stimulus relations, concept formation, and relational learning. The curriculum is designed to promote skill acquisition, generalization, and the emergence of complex language and cognitive repertoires.
