Course Description

Relational Frame Theory (RFT) is a behavioral theory of language and cognition within Applied Behavior Analysis. Developed by Steven C. Hayes and colleagues, RFT explains how humans learn language through relating stimuli in systematic ways (e.g., same, opposite, more than). These learned relational patterns help explain complex behaviors such as reasoning, problem solving, and symbolic language.
